YILIMART - B-CLL Cell Isolation Kit, human

The B-CLL Cell Isolation Kit was developed for the fast and efficient isolation of untouched B cells from PBMCs. The kit has been especially designed for the isolation of B cells from PBMCs of B-CLL or other B cell malignancies.

The B-CLL Cell Isolation Kit replaces the B Cell Isolation Kit (B-CLL), human.

Detailed separation procedure

Non-B cells are indirectly magnetically labeled by using a cocktail of biotin-conjugated antibodies against CD2, CD3, CD4, CD14, CD15, CD16, CD56, CD61, CD235a, FcεRI, CD34, and Anti-Biotin MicroBeads. Isolation of untouched B cells is achieved by depletion of magnetically labeled cells. The depletion cocktail does not contain CD43, which might be expressed on the target cells.

Downstream applications

The B-CLL Cell Isolation Kit can be used for studies on B cells from tumor cell-containing samples and for functional studies on B cells. Furthermore the kit can be used for studies on signal requirements for B cell activation, induction of B cell proliferation, differentiation of B cells, induction of apoptosis in B cells, etc. Further applications include studies on signal transduction in B cells and the analysis of immunoglobulin class switching and somatic hypermutation in B cells.

Isolation of untouched B cells from human PBMCs using the B-CLL Cell Isolation Kit, an LS Column, and a MidiMACS™ Separator. Cells were fluorescently stained with CD19-APC (130-091-248) and CD43-PE (130-097-362). Cell debris and dead cells were excluded from the analysis based on scatter signals and propidium iodide fluorescence.
