Clone REAL501 is an antibody fragment derived from the full CD9 antibody molecule. It displays no binding to Fc receptors. The recombinantly engineered antibody fragments are multimerized to form the REAlease Complex to bind markers with high avidity.
Clone REAL501 recognizes mouse CD9, a 24 kDa type IV transmembrane glycoprotein of the tetraspanin family, also known as transmembrane 4 superfamily. CD9 is expressed on marginal zone B cells, B1 cells, plasma cells, eosinophils, as well as on basophils and is up-regulated on activated B and T lymphocytes. CD9 complexes with integrins and other transmembrane 4 superfamily proteins.
The REAlease Kits consist of the respective fluorochrome-conjugated REAlease Complexes and the REAlease Support Kit for removal of the REAlease Complexes and optional relabeling with different fluorochrome-conjugated REAlease Complexes.
