Clone REAL469 is an antibody fragment derived from the full CD45.1 antibody molecule. It displays no binding to Fc receptors. The recombinantly engineered antibody fragments are multimerized to form the REAlease Complex to bind markers with high avidity.
Clone REAL469 recognizes the mouse CD45.1 alloantigen of CD45, a membrane glycoprotein also known as leukocyte common antigen or Ly-5. CD45.1 is expressed by all leukocytes in mouse strains SJL/J, STS/A, RIII, and DA. CD45 is a member of the protein tyrosine phosphatase family and is involved in the regulation of T and B cell antigen receptor signaling. Clone REAL469 does not react with the CD45.2 alloantigen expressed by most mouse strains.
The REAlease Kits consist of the respective fluorochrome-conjugated REAlease Complexes and the REAlease Support Kit for removal of the REAlease Complexes and optional relabeling with different fluorochrome-conjugated REAlease Complexes.
