Clone REAL396 is an antibody fragment derived from the full CD50 (ICAM-3) antibody molecule. It displays no binding to Fc receptors. The recombinantly engineered antibody fragments are multimerized to form the REAlease Complex to bind markers with high avidity.
Clone REAL396 recognizes the human CD50 antigen, a type I transmembrane glycoprotein also known as ICAM-3 (Intercellular adhesion molecule 3). CD50, a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily, is closely related to ICAM-1 and consists of five immunoglobulin domains. CD50 is expressed on leukocytes. CD50 is a ligand for CD11a (leukocyte adhesion LFA-1 protein) and is also associated with the amino-terminal domain of ERM proteins and moesin. It plays an essential role in primary immune responses.
The REAlease Kits consist of the respective fluorochrome-conjugated REAlease Complexes and the REAlease Support Kit for removal of the REAlease Complexes and optional relabeling with different fluorochrome-conjugated REAlease Complexes.
