The Imaging Chambers CG have been designed for cell based assays and high resolution life cell imaging applications. As the chambers can be gently unmounted from the cover glasses it is possible to combine life cell imaging with later additional investigation, e.g. scanning electron microscopy, or storing of the samples embedded on microscope slides. Therefore cell culture samples can be analysed with inverted and upright microscopes. The chamber bottom is made from 170 µm borosilicate cover glass specially selected for fluorescence detection technologies. The V lid and the chambers are made from chemical and temperature resistant materials. Thus, hybridization within the chambers as well as usage of chemicals like acetone for fixation of cells is possible.
