YILIMART - Lineage Cell Det. Cocktail-Biotin, mouse

The Lineage Cell Detection Cocktail-Biotin provides an easy means of detecting lineage-positive cells in mouse bone marrow and other hematopoietic tissues. Comprised of a panel of monoclonal antibodies that recognizes all mature hematopoietic lineages, the kit can be used, e.g. for discriminating (gating-out) lineage-positive cells during flow cytometry or for defining KSL cells after magnetic separation with the Anti-Sca-1 MicroBead Kit or CD117 MicroBeads. The biotinylated format provides flexibility when choosing the detection channel.

Background information

During differentiation into a particular cell lineage, the so-far uncommitted progenitor cells upregulate the expression of characteristic lineage markers. These can be used to distinguish lineage-committed T cells, B cells, monocytes/macrophages, granulocytes, and erythrocytes from their uncommitted counterparts. Gating-out the lineage-positive fraction therefore allows to focus on the lineage-negative stem and progenitor cell compartment during analysis

The Lineage Cell Detection Cocktail-Biotin contains biotin-conjugated monoclonal antibodies against: CD5, CD11b, CD45R, Anti-7-4, Anti-Gr-1 (Ly6G/C), and Anti-Terr-119.
