Multi-24 Column Block and Whole Blood Column Elution Buffer are included in the kit to allow direct processing of a 1/2 Leukopak

Background information

The CD19 antigen is expressed from the early pro–B cell to the B cell blast stage. It is also present on most malignant B cells. CD19 expression is down-regulated upon terminal differentiation of B cells to plasma cells.

CD19 MicroBeads and loaded onto Multi-24 Column Block, which is placed in the magnetic field of a MultiMACS™ Cell24 Separator Plus. After removing the column from the magnetic field, the magnetically retained CD19

cells can be eluted as the positively selected cell fraction.

Downstream applications

The purified CD19

⁺

cells are well suited for further flow cytometric, functional, or molecular analysis.

Analyzer. Cell debris and dead cells were excluded from the analysis based on scatter signals and propidium iodide fluorescence.
