CXCL13 is also known as B lymphocyte chemoattractant (BLC) or B cell–attracting chemokine 1 (BCA-1) and is belonging to the CXC chemokine family. CXCL13 interacts with receptor CXCR5 and controls the organization of B cells within follicles of lymphoid tissues. It is expressed in the liver, spleen, lymph nodes, and gut of humans.
