CD271, also known as LNGFR (low-affinity nerve growth factor receptor) or p75NTR was initially described to be expressed on cells of the nervous system.

Further, CD271 is expressed on mesenchymal stromal cells (MSC).

Interestingly, colony forming units fibroblast (CFU-F) activity resides in the CD271

cell fraction.

Also, the human CD271 antibody shows cross-reactivity with animals such as rhesus monkey, goat, sheep, dog and pig.

The CliniMACS
®
CD271 Product Line consists of murine anti-CD271 monoclonal antibodies conjugated to superparamagnetic iron dextran particles.
One vial contains 7.5 mL sterile, non‑pyrogenic solution.

Other products of the CliniMACS Product Line are available for use only under an approved Investigational New Drug (IND) application, Investigational Device Exemption (IDE) or FDA approval.
